“I am honored to once again have the opportunity to participate in this great event,” said Representative Naughton.  “Armed Forces Day is a chance for us to honor, recognize, and thank those who take the responsibility of serving and defending our nation.”  Representative Naughton is a Major in the United States Army Reserve serving as a Judge Advocate and was recently deployed to southwest Asia in 2015.

This year’s event will feature special guest speakers Lieutenant Governor Karyn Polito, Women Veterans Coordinator for the Massachusetts Department of Veterans Services, TSgt, USAF (RET) Mary E. Gallagher, and Manager of Strategic Partnerships at Veterans Inc., First Lieutenant Brenda Heller, US Army. Shrewsbury High School Senior Carly O’Brien will perform the National Anthem.
